In all truthfulness the service of restoring classic tractors happened by accident. We came across a Case International 1455XL, that had a sad ending when meeting a tree at the bottom of a hill, and the guys decided to revive its sorry state. With its new lease of life, it became our show stopper at the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show in 2023. Which lead to an enquiry for a full restoration on a Case International 1056XL, then a couple of Masseys followed, and a few more Internationals. Now it's what we do, give old timers and new lease of life.

Keeping Classic Tractors Alive

The Restoration Process
We don't work to a fixed process. We talk in depth with the customer, we're happy to do a basic restoration or go as far as the customer wants with added extras.
Either way, the first stage is always addressing anything mechanical, from brakes to engine rebuilds. Then depending on the finish the customer wants, it's a strip down and body work sandblasted ready for painting. If the tractor has a cab, this is usually where a lot of the TLC takes place. When it comes to reassembling, again this varies job to job, but once the main body is back together, the wheels on and the cab on. Attention turns to the interior and finer details, such as, cab linings, electronics and decals. In amongst all this any special requirements from the customer, such as upgrading the seat, LED lights, and any other added extras are fitted.

Our Workshop Facilities
Surprisingly to some, we only operate from a relatively small workshop, often borrowing a corner of the wheel store for some extra space. Equipped with lifting equipment, engine hoists, rails, and wheel changing equipment.
Keeping it simple, our workshop isn't fitted with endless electronic gadgets, just good old spanners.
